The Man In Black.  Johnny Cash was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, known for his deep, distinctive bass-baritone voice and for his dark clothing, which earned him the nickname  “The Man in Black."  Much of Cash’s music echoed themes of sorrow, moral tribulation and redemption, especially in the later stages of his career.  Jim Marshall followed Cash throughout his career, getting unique access to the great man’s performances and work.
